
About the Founder
Veronique MacRae is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and founder of Stage and Spirit, where performance becomes a pathway to transformation, ancestral remembrance, and collective restoration. A SAG-AFTRA performer and 2023 Kennedy Center Local Theatre Resident in Social Impact, she has over two decades of experience across theatre, film, media, and education.
Her work bridges identity, spirituality, and creative expression, guiding individuals and communities through seasons of change. A graduate of North Carolina Central University (B.A. Theatre) and Duke Divinity School (M.C.S.), Veronique currently serves as Co-Director of Coordinate Theatre for St. Albans School and National Cathedral School in Washington, DC.
She is also Co-Founder of The Tasty Alternative and creator of Salt + Ash, a ritual-inspired culinary series exploring nourishment as remembrance. Through Stage and Spirit and her creative practice, she continues to cultivate spaces where healing happens, voices rise, and legacy is reclaimed.
